My Photography Journey...  

Photography has been woven into my life from the start. My dad had a darkroom, and I eagerly followed in his footsteps - or should I say, photosteps.

In high school, I was lucky enough to work for a local photographer, gaining hands-on experience that deepened my love for capturing moments.

Years later, a friend of my daughter saw a portrait I’d made and was so captivated that she asked me to photograph her wedding. Gulp. I knew I needed some quick guidance.

Summoning my courage, I walked into a photography studio in search of help and left having met my first mentor, the late Sidney Yoblick.

As my artistic focus shifted from weddings to fine art, I sought personalized guidance from my second mentor, Alison Sha--a renowned photographer on Martha’s Vineyard.

Paying it forward became the next step. I had the privilege of mentoring Cape Cod high school students through a semester of the MassHire Cape and the Islands Workforce Board’s Art Works Program.

Meanwhile, I was getting more and more comfortable using my iPhone camera for creative photography. As people noticed, they started coming to me with questions about how to navigate the menu settings and unlock hidden features.

This led to teaching in-person smartphone camera classes at art galleries, museums, and in my own studio. 

Soon, I expanded my services to include one-on-one coaching, helping clients discover the creative potential in their smartphones.

Now, I’m excited to share my Signature Program: Smartphone Camera Mastery--a personalized, step-by-step coaching experience designed to help you unlock the creative power of your smartphone camera, whether online or in person.
